Comparison review
The Xperia 5 II is much better than the Xperia XZ2, getting a general score of 87.2 against 79.1. Xperia 5 II is a way newer cellphone, and it's also way thinner and somewhat lighter than the Xperia XZ2. The Xperia XZ2 has a bit more vivid display than Xperia 5 II, although it has a quite smaller display, a little lower resolution of 1080 x 2160 pixels and a just a little lower pixels density.
Sony Xperia 5 II counts with a way bigger memory to install applications and games than Xperia XZ2, because it has more internal memory capacity and a SD memory slot that supports up to 1000 GB. The Sony Xperia 5 II has a little faster processor than Xperia XZ2, and although they both have a Octa-Core processor, the Sony Xperia 5 II also has a larger amount of RAM.
Xperia XZ2 features a camera that's very similar to the camera in Sony Xperia 5 II, because although the Xperia XZ2 has a much tinier sensor, a tinier camera aperture which is not nice for low light captures and slower 60 frames per second video frame rate, and they both have the same (4K) video quality, it also counts with a back facing camera with lot more mega pixels.
The Sony Xperia 5 II has longer battery life than Xperia XZ2, because it has a 26 percent bigger battery capacity.
