Comparison review
Sony Xperia 5 II is much better than the Xiaomi Mi 5s, getting an 87.2 score against 76.4. The Sony Xperia 5 II is a much newer and just a bit thinner phone than the Xiaomi Mi 5s, but it's also heavier. Xperia 5 II features a little better performance than Xiaomi Mi 5s, because it has a larger amount of RAM and a higher number of faster cores.
The Xiaomi Mi 5s counts with just a bit better looking screen than Xperia 5 II, although it has a little worse resolution of 1080 x 1920, a just a bit lower screen density and a quite smaller display. Sony Xperia 5 II counts with a lot bigger memory capacity for games and applications than Xiaomi Mi 5s, and although they both have the same 128 GB internal storage, the Sony Xperia 5 II also has an external memory card slot that holds up to 1000 GB.
Sony Xperia 5 II has longer battery lifetime than Xiaomi Mi 5s, because it has a 25 percent larger battery capacity. The Xperia 5 II features a much better camera than Xiaomi Mi 5s, and although they both have the same video resolution and a 12 mega pixels resolution back camera, the Xperia 5 II also has a way bigger sensor, faster video frame rates and a bigger diafragm aperture to take better low-light images.
Although Xperia 5 II is a better device, it costs a lot more money than Xiaomi Mi 5s, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as the Xiaomi Mi 5s. So if you want that extra specs and features, you can buy Xperia 5 II, but if you don't you can save a couple dollars and buy the Xiaomi Mi 5s, resigning some specs and features.
