The Xperia 5 III is much better than the OnePlus 9 Pro, getting a general score of 90.5 against 76.6. Xperia 5 III's design is somewhat lighter and a little bit thinner than OnePlus 9 Pro, even though both were released only a couple months apart. Both of these phones include the same Android 11 OS (operating system), so both should provide all the same OS features.
The OnePlus 9 Pro features a bit more vivid display than Xperia 5 III, because it has a just a bit more pixels per inch in the display, a bit bigger screen and a higher resolution of 1440 x 3216 pixels. The OnePlus 9 Pro's processor is very similar to Sony Xperia 5 III's processing unit, both of them have a Octa-Core processing unit and a 8 GB RAM memory.
The Xperia 5 III counts with a way bigger memory for apps and games than OnePlus 9 Pro, because it has 256 GB internal storage capacity and an external memory card slot that holds up to 1 TB. OnePlus 9 Pro and Sony Xperia 5 III count with quite similar batteries. OnePlus 9 Pro features a better camera than Sony Xperia 5 III, because although it has a tinier aperture which is worse for low-light captures and video, it also counts with a lot higher 48 megapixels resolution camera in the back, a way better video resolution and a bigger sensor shooting higher quality videos and photos.
