Comparison review
Sony Xperia 5 III has a global score of 90.5, which is better than Galaxy A12's overall score of 80.3. Although Sony Xperia 5 III and the Galaxy A12 were only released with a few months difference, Sony Xperia 5 III is somewhat lighter and just a bit thinner. Both phones in our current comparison include Android OS, but Sony Xperia 5 III has 11 version while Galaxy A12 has Android 10 version.
Sony Xperia 5 III counts with a little faster processing unit than Samsung Galaxy A12, and although they both have the same number of cores, the Sony Xperia 5 III also has 4 GB more RAM. The Xperia 5 III features a much better looking screen than Galaxy A12, because although it has a little bit smaller display, it also counts with a much higher 1080 x 2520 resolution and a way greater display density.
The Sony Xperia 5 III features a way bigger storage capacity to store more games and applications than Galaxy A12, and although they both have a slot for external memory cards that allows up to 1 TB, the Sony Xperia 5 III also has 192 GB more internal storage. The Sony Xperia 5 III takes clearer pictures and videos than Galaxy A12, because although it has a lot less mega pixels resolution camera in the back, it also counts with a lot higher 3840x2160 (4K) video definition and a larger diafragm aperture.
The Galaxy A12 counts with just a bit better battery performance than Sony Xperia 5 III, because it has an 11% larger battery size.
