Comparison review
IPhone 8 Plus is a little bit better than Xperia 5, with an 87.1 score against 81. Although iPhone 8 Plus is a lot older and somewhat heavier than the Xperia 5, it's design is still just a little bit thinner. The Apple iPhone 8 Plus has a little faster CPU than Sony Xperia 5, because although it has a smaller amount of RAM memory and an inferior number of cores and they are also slower, it also counts with a 64-bit CPU.
The Apple iPhone 8 Plus features a little sharper screen than Sony Xperia 5, although it has a bit smaller screen, a little bit worse pixel count per inch in the screen and a bit worse resolution of 1080 x 1920px. The Sony Xperia 5 has just a bit more storage capacity for applications, games, photos and videos than iPhone 8 Plus, because although it has 0 less internal memory capacity, it also counts with a slot for an SD memory card that admits a maximum of 512 GB.
The Sony Xperia 5 features improved battery lifetime than iPhone 8 Plus, because it has a 17 percent bigger battery size. The iPhone 8 Plus has just a bit better camera than Sony Xperia 5, because although it has a smaller back-facing camera sensor giving a worse image quality and a tinier diafragm aperture which is not so good for taking pictures and video in poorly lited environments, and they both have the same resolution camera in the back and the same video quality, the iPhone 8 Plus also counts with better 60 frames per second video frame rates.
The Apple iPhone 8 Plus costs a bit more than Sony Xperia 5, but you can get a better phone for that extra money.
