Comparison review
The Asus ZenFone 8 has an overall score of 83, which is a little bit better than the Xperia 5's score of 81. Asus ZenFone 8's design is newer than the Xperia 5's, although it is a little bit thicker and just a little bit heavier. Asus ZenFone 8 features a little sharper screen than Sony Xperia 5, although it has a little worse pixels density, a bit lower resolution of 1080 x 2400px and a quite smaller display.
The Xperia 5 features a very superior memory for apps and games than Asus ZenFone 8, and although they both have the same internal memory capacity, the Xperia 5 also has a SD memory slot that allows a maximum of 512 GB. The Asus ZenFone 8's processing unit is very similar to Sony Xperia 5's CPU, both of them have the same RAM amount and 8 CPU cores.
Asus ZenFone 8 features longer battery performance than Sony Xperia 5, because it has a 27% greater battery size. Asus ZenFone 8 shoots much clearer videos and photos than Xperia 5, because although it has a tinier camera aperture which is not nice for taking pictures in low-light environments, it also counts with a much better video quality, a way bigger sensor and a much better 64 megapixels resolution back camera.
