Sony Xperia 5 features a much greater memory capacity to store more apps and games than Huawei Mate 9 Pro, and although they both have exactly the same internal memory, the Sony Xperia 5 also has an external SD slot that admits a maximum of 512 GB. Huawei Mate 9 Pro counts with greater battery duration than Xperia 5, because it has 4000mAh of battery capacity.
The Xperia 5 costs a bit more money than the Huawei Mate 9 Pro, but it's still a convenient choice, because you can get a lot more for that extra money.
