Comparison review
Huawei P30 is just a bit better than Xperia 5, getting an 81.7 score against 81. Huawei P30's body is just a bit heavier but just a bit thinner than Xperia 5, and both of them were released with only a few months difference. Xperia 5 features a bit sharper display than Huawei P30, and although they both have a screen with the same size, the Xperia 5 also has a just a bit more pixels per inch in the display and a little higher 1080 x 2520 pixels resolution.
The Sony Xperia 5 has a much better memory to install applications and games than Huawei P30, and although they both have equal 128 GB internal memory capacity, the Sony Xperia 5 also has a slot for an SD memory card that holds up to 512 GB. The Sony Xperia 5 counts with a bit better processing power than Huawei P30. Both have 6 GB of RAM memory and a Octa-Core CPU.
The Huawei P30 counts with just a bit longer battery performance than Sony Xperia 5, because it has a 16 percent bigger battery size. The Huawei P30 takes much clearer pictures and videos than Sony Xperia 5, because although it has a smaller diafragm aperture, and they both have the same 30 frames per second video frame rates and the same 3840x2160 (4K) video definition, the Huawei P30 also counts with a much better 40 megapixels resolution camera in the back and a lot larger camera sensor.
Huawei P30 not only is the best phones in our current comparison, but it's also by far the cheapest, which makes this phone a no doubt choice.
