Comparison review
Xperia 5 is just a bit better than LG G5, having an 81 score against 76.1. Although Xperia 5 is extremely newer than LG G5, it is just a bit heavier and just a bit thicker. LG G5 has a little more vivid screen than Xperia 5, because although it has a little smaller display, it also counts with a just a bit higher amount of pixels per display inch and a slightly better resolution of 1440 x 2560 pixels.
The Xperia 5 counts with a bit faster processor than LG G5, because it has a higher number of faster cores and a larger amount of RAM. Sony Xperia 5 has more memory capacity to install applications and games than LG G5, because although it has an external memory card slot that admits up to 512 GB against 1,95 TB, it also counts with 96 GB more internal memory capacity.
The LG G5 takes just a bit better pictures and videos than Sony Xperia 5, because although it has a tinier diafragm aperture which is not recommended for taking pictures and videos in low-light environments, and they both have the same video definition, a same size back camera sensor and the same 30 frames per second video frame rates, the LG G5 also counts with a back camera with way more mega-pixels.
Xperia 5 counts with a little better battery life than LG G5, because it has a 3140mAh battery capacity instead of 2800mAh.
Although Sony Xperia 5 is a better device, it costs a lot more money than the LG G5, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as LG G5. So if you need that extra specs, you can buy Sony Xperia 5, otherwise you can save a couple dollars and buy the LG G5, resigning a couple features and specifications.
