Comparison review
The LG G8S ThinQ has a score of 82.5, which is slightly better than the Xperia 5's global score of 81. LG G8S ThinQ's construction is just a bit heavier but just a bit thinner than the Xperia 5, and both were only released with a couple of months difference. Xperia 5 has a little bit better screen than LG G8S ThinQ, because although it has a quite smaller screen, it also counts with a little bit better pixel count per inch in the screen and a bit higher resolution of 1080 x 2520.
The LG G8S ThinQ counts with a lot bigger memory for apps and games than Sony Xperia 5, and although they both have equal internal memory, the LG G8S ThinQ also has a SD memory slot that holds up to 1,95 TB. The LG G8S ThinQ features a processing unit that's very similar to the CPU in Xperia 5, they have 8 CPU cores and 6 GB of RAM.
LG G8S ThinQ has a bit better camera than Sony Xperia 5, because although it has a smaller diafragm aperture which is not recommended for low-light captures, and they both have the same resolution back camera and the same (4K) video resolution, the LG G8S ThinQ also counts with better 60 fps video frame rates.
The LG G8S ThinQ has a bit longer battery performance than Xperia 5, because it has 3550mAh of battery capacity instead of 3140mAh.
