The Sony Xperia 5 is a little bit better than the LG Q70, with a score of 81 against 77.9. The Sony Xperia 5 is a lighter device than the LG Q70, but both of them are equally thin. The Xperia 5 counts with just a bit better processing power than LG Q70, and although they both have 8 cores, the Xperia 5 also has more RAM.
Sony Xperia 5 features a little sharper display than LG Q70, because although it has a quite smaller screen, it also counts with a just a little better amount of pixels per inch of display and a little bit higher resolution of 1080 x 2520. The LG Q70 features a bit bigger memory to install applications and games than Sony Xperia 5, because although it has less internal memory capacity, it also counts with an external SD slot that allows up to 1,95 TB.

So if you want that extra specs, you can buy the Xperia 5, else you can save some money and get the LG Q70, giving up a couple specs and features.
