Comparison review
The LG Velvet has a score of 87.1, which is a little bit better than the Xperia 5's 81 score. The LG Velvet design is just a little bit heavier but just a little bit thinner than the Xperia 5, and both of them were released with only a couple of months difference. Xperia 5 features a little better processing power than LG Velvet. They have the same number of cores and the same RAM amount.
The Sony Xperia 5 features a little more vivid display than LG Velvet, because although it has a little smaller display, it also counts with a slightly higher 1080 x 2520px resolution and a little more pixels per screen inch. The LG Velvet has a much bigger storage capacity for games and applications than Xperia 5, and although they both have the same 128 GB internal storage, the LG Velvet also has a slot for an external memory card that allows a maximum of 1,95 TB.
LG Velvet shoots better videos and photos than Xperia 5, because although it has a tinier diafragm aperture which is not nice for low light photography, and they both have the same 3840x2160 (4K) video quality and the same 30 frames per second video frame rate, the LG Velvet also counts with a lot better resolution camera and a way bigger camera sensor providing a lot higher image quality.
LG Velvet features a really longer battery duration than Xperia 5, because it has a 4300mAh battery size against 3140mAh.
Despite of being the best phone in our current comparison, the LG Velvet is also very cheap compared to the other phones.
