The Motorola edge is better than the Xperia 5, getting an 89.6 score against 81. Motorola edge is a heavier and thicker phone than the Xperia 5. The Sony Xperia 5 counts with a bit better CPU than Motorola edge. Both of them have a Octa-Core processing unit and 6 GB of RAM. The Xperia 5 has just a bit better looking screen than Motorola edge, because although it has a quite smaller screen, it also counts with a bit higher resolution of 1080 x 2520px and a bit more pixels per display inch.

Motorola edge has much more memory for games and applications than Xperia 5, because it has an external memory card slot that supports a maximum of 1000 GB and 128 GB more internal memory capacity. The Motorola edge captures way better photographs and videos than Xperia 5, because although it has a tinier aperture, and they both have the same 3840x2160 (4K) video quality and the same 30 fps video frame rates, the Motorola edge also counts with a much larger sensor and a camera in the back with a lot better 64 megapixels resolution.

The Motorola edge features a much better battery life than Xperia 5, because it has a 43% larger battery size.

Despite of being the best phone in our comparison, the Motorola edge is also a lot cheaper, which makes buying this phone an easy decision.
