Motorola Edge 50 Neo has a score of 81.9, which is slightly better than Sony Xperia 5's general score of 81. The Motorola Edge 50 Neo construction has the same thickness than the Sony Xperia 5, but it is a little heavier. Xperia 5 has a very superior processor than Motorola Edge 50 Neo, although it has a smaller amount of RAM, they both have the same number of cores.

Motorola Edge 50 Neo features an incredibly better looking screen than Sony Xperia 5, because it has a little better screen density, a slightly better resolution of 1256 x 2760 and a little larger screen. Xperia 5 features a bit more storage capacity to store more apps and games than Motorola Edge 50 Neo, because although it has less internal memory, it also counts with a slot for an SD memory card that allows a maximum of 512 GB.

Motorola Edge 50 Neo has a very superior camera than Xperia 5, because although it has a smaller camera aperture which is not recommended for shooting photographs and video in poorly lited situations, and they both have the same 3840x2160 video resolution and the same 30 frames per second video frame rates, the Motorola Edge 50 Neo also counts with a lot bigger sensor taking much higher quality videos and pictures and a way more mega-pixels back facing camera.

The Motorola Edge 50 Neo has a much better battery life than Xperia 5, because it has a 4310mAh battery size instead of 3140mAh.
