The Xperia 5 is a little bit better than Moto G30, having an 81 score against 78.1. The Xperia 5 design is somewhat lighter and somewhat thinner than the Moto G30, despite of the fact that it was released around 17 months before. The Xperia 5 has a little better hardware performance than Moto G30, and although they both have a Octa-Core processing unit, the Xperia 5 also has a greater amount of RAM.

Xperia 5 counts with a better looking display than Motorola Moto G30, because although it has a quite smaller screen, it also counts with a way better resolution of 1080 x 2520 and a much greater pixels count per inch of display. Motorola Moto G30's memory to store more apps and games is very similar to the Xperia 5 one, both of them have an external SD slot that supports a maximum of 512 GB and equal 128 GB internal memory.

The Motorola Moto G30 counts with a much better camera than Sony Xperia 5, because although it has a tinier aperture which is not favorable for low light captures and video, and they both have the same video resolution, the Motorola Moto G30 also counts with a way higher resolution camera in the back and higher video frame rates.

Moto G30 has a much longer battery performance than Sony Xperia 5, because it has a 59% bigger battery capacity.
