Comparison review

Xperia 5 is a bit better than Motorola Moto G8 Power, having a score of 81 against 76. Xperia 5's construction is somewhat thinner and lighter than Motorola Moto G8 Power, although both of them were released only 7 months apart. The Xperia 5 counts with a little sharper screen than Moto G8 Power, because although it has a bit smaller display, it also counts with a just a bit higher pixel density and a little bit higher 1080 x 2520 resolution.

Xperia 5 features a bit faster CPU than Moto G8 Power, and although they both have a Octa-Core CPU, the Xperia 5 also has a greater amount of RAM. The Moto G8 Power shoots a bit better pictures and videos than Sony Xperia 5, because although it has a smaller aperture which is worse for low light images and a tinier sensor providing a worse image quality, and they both have the same video resolution and the same video frame rate, the Moto G8 Power also counts with a camera in the back with lot more mega-pixels.

The Sony Xperia 5 features a lot bigger storage for applications and games than Moto G8 Power, and although they both have a slot for an SD memory card that supports a maximum of 512 GB, the Sony Xperia 5 also has more internal memory. The Motorola Moto G8 Power has a really longer battery lifetime than Sony Xperia 5, because it has 5000mAh of battery capacity against 3140mAh.

Although Xperia 5 is a better device, it costs a lot more money than the Moto G8 Power, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as the Moto G8 Power. So if you want that extra specs, you can buy Xperia 5, else you can save some money and buy the Moto G8 Power, giving up some features and specifications.
