Comparison review
The Xperia 5 has a general score of 81, which is a bit better than the OnePlus 7T Pro 5G McLaren's general score of 80.1. Even when the Xperia 5 and OnePlus 7T Pro 5G McLaren were released with only a couple of months difference, the Xperia 5 is just a bit thinner and a lot lighter. The OnePlus 7T Pro 5G McLaren features a little more vivid display than Xperia 5, because it has a little better screen pixel density, a higher resolution of 1440 x 3120px and a quite bigger screen.
Xperia 5 has slightly more storage for applications and games than OnePlus 7T Pro 5G McLaren, because although it has 0 less internal memory, it also counts with an external SD slot that supports up to 512 GB. The OnePlus 7T Pro 5G McLaren counts with just a little better performance than Xperia 5, and although they both have 8 processing cores, the OnePlus 7T Pro 5G McLaren also has a higher amount of RAM.
The OnePlus 7T Pro 5G McLaren features longer battery performance than Xperia 5, because it has 4085mAh of battery capacity instead of 3140mAh. The OnePlus 7T Pro 5G McLaren features a much better camera than Xperia 5, and although they both have a same size aperture and the same 3840x2160 video resolution, the OnePlus 7T Pro 5G McLaren also has a camera with much more mega pixels, a way bigger back-facing camera sensor providing a lot higher image quality and higher video frame rates.

So if you need that extra features, you can buy the Xperia 5, otherwise you can save some dollars and buy the OnePlus 7T Pro 5G McLaren, letting go some features and specs.
