The Samsung Galaxy A42 has a global score of 87, which is slightly better than the Sony Xperia 5's general score of 81. The Samsung Galaxy A42 design is newer, but a little bit thicker and heavier than Sony Xperia 5. The Sony Xperia 5 counts with a bit better hardware performance than Samsung Galaxy A42, and although they both have a Octa-Core CPU, the Sony Xperia 5 also has a larger amount of RAM memory.
