The Xperia 5 has a global score of 81, which is slightly better than the Samsung Galaxy Note 5's 79.3 overall score. Xperia 5 is a newer and a little lighter cellphone than Samsung Galaxy Note 5, although it is just a bit thicker. Xperia 5 features a better processing unit than Galaxy Note 5, because it has a higher amount of RAM memory and a higher number of faster cores.

Samsung Galaxy Note 5 has a brighter display than Sony Xperia 5, because although it has a little bit smaller display, it also counts with a just a bit better pixel quantity per inch in the display and a slightly higher resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels.
