The Xperia 5 has a global score of 81, which is slightly better than the Samsung Galaxy Note 5's 79.3 overall score. Xperia 5 is a newer and a little lighter cellphone than Samsung Galaxy Note 5, although it is just a bit thicker. Xperia 5 features a better processing unit than Galaxy Note 5, because it has a higher amount of RAM memory and a higher number of faster cores.
Samsung Galaxy Note 5 has a brighter display than Sony Xperia 5, because although it has a little bit smaller display, it also counts with a just a bit better pixel quantity per inch in the display and a slightly higher resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels. Galaxy Note 5 captures clearer pictures and videos than Sony Xperia 5, because although it has a tinier camera aperture, and they both have a 0.38 inches back-facing camera sensor, the same (4K) video quality and the same 30 frames per second video frame rate, the Galaxy Note 5 also counts with a lot more mega-pixels back camera.
The Sony Xperia 5 features a very superior storage capacity to install games and applications than Galaxy Note 5, because it has an external memory slot that allows up to 512 GB and 128 GB internal memory capacity. Although Xperia 5 is a better device, it costs a lot more money than Samsung Galaxy Note 5, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as Samsung Galaxy Note 5. So if you need that extra features and specs, you can buy the Xperia 5, otherwise you can save some dollars and buy the Samsung Galaxy Note 5, letting go some features and specs.
