Comparison review
Sony Xperia 5 is a little bit better than Galaxy S6 Active, having an 81 score against 80.9. Samsung Galaxy S6 Active counts with a sharper screen than Sony Xperia 5, because although it has a little smaller display, it also counts with more pixels per inch of display and a slightly higher 2560 x 1440 resolution.
The Galaxy S6 Active counts with a little bit better hardware performance than Xperia 5, because although it has lesser RAM memory, and they both have 8 CPU cores, the Galaxy S6 Active also counts with a 64 bits processor and an additional graphics processor. The Xperia 5 features a much bigger storage capacity for applications and games than Samsung Galaxy S6 Active, because it has 96 GB more internal memory capacity.
The Samsung Galaxy S6 Active features just a bit better battery life than Sony Xperia 5, because it has an 11% greater battery capacity. Xperia 5 has a better camera than Samsung Galaxy S6 Active, because although it has a worse (4K) video quality and a back facing camera with a much lower resolution, and they both have the same camera sensor size, the Xperia 5 also counts with a bigger camera aperture to take better photography in poorly lited situations.
Although Sony Xperia 5 is a better device, it costs a lot more than Galaxy S6 Active, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as Galaxy S6 Active. If you want to save some dollars, you can buy Galaxy S6 Active, letting go a few features and specifications, but you will get the most with your money.
