Comparison review
The Galaxy S6 is a little bit better than the Xperia 5, getting a general score of 87.4 against 81. Galaxy S6's body is somewhat lighter and thinner than Xperia 5, even though it was released 5 years before. Galaxy S6 counts with a brighter display than Sony Xperia 5, because although it has a quite smaller display, it also counts with a better pixels number in each inch of screen and a bit higher 2560 x 1440 resolution.
The Sony Xperia 5 features a superior memory capacity for games and applications than Samsung Galaxy S6, and although they both have the same 128 GB internal storage capacity, the Sony Xperia 5 also has an external memory card slot that supports up to 512 GB. The Samsung Galaxy S6 features a bit better processor than Xperia 5, because although it has a lower amount of RAM, and they both have 8 processing cores, the Samsung Galaxy S6 also counts with an extra graphics co-processor and a 64-bit processor.
Galaxy S6 captures a bit better videos and photos than Sony Xperia 5, because although it has a smaller camera aperture which is not nice for low light images and videos, and they both have the same video frame rates, the same back camera sensor size and the same (4K) video definition, the Galaxy S6 also counts with a much higher resolution back-facing camera.
The Xperia 5 has superior battery duration than Galaxy S6, because it has a 23% bigger battery capacity.
Despite of being the best phone in this comparison, the Galaxy S6 is also a bargain compared to others.
