Comparison review

Samsung Galaxy S8 is a bit better than the Xperia 5, having a global score of 81.7 against 81. Even though the Samsung Galaxy S8 is notably older than the Xperia 5, it's design is just a little bit thinner and just a bit lighter. The Galaxy S8 counts with just a bit better screen than Xperia 5, because although it has a quite smaller screen, it also counts with a higher 1440 x 2960 resolution and more pixels per inch of screen.

Xperia 5 counts with a bit faster processor than Samsung Galaxy S8, and although they both have 8 cpu cores, the Xperia 5 also has a greater amount of RAM. The Xperia 5 has a much bigger memory for applications, games, photos and videos than Samsung Galaxy S8, because it has 64 GB more internal memory capacity and a SD card slot that supports up to 512 GB.

The Galaxy S8 and Sony Xperia 5 have extremely similar cameras, because although the Galaxy S8 has a smaller aperture which is not favorable for low-light photos, and they both have the same 30 frames per second video frame rate, the same video definition and a 12 mega pixels back-facing camera, it also counts with a bigger sensor capturing higher quality pictures.

The Xperia 5 features a little better battery performance than Galaxy S8, because it has 3140mAh of battery capacity.

Despite of being the best phone in this comparison, the Galaxy S8 is also a bargain compared to others, making it an easy decision.
