The Sony Xperia 5 is a little bit better than the Galaxy XCover FieldPro, getting an 81 score against 80.1. Sony Xperia 5's body is much thinner and lighter than the Galaxy XCover FieldPro, even when both were only released with a few months difference. The Galaxy XCover FieldPro counts with a little sharper screen than Xperia 5, because although it has a quite smaller display, it also counts with a greater pixels count per inch of screen and a bit higher 1440 x 2560 pixels resolution.

The Sony Xperia 5 has a much greater memory capacity to install applications and games than Galaxy XCover FieldPro, and although they both have a SD memory card expansion slot that admits up to 512 GB, the Sony Xperia 5 also has 128 GB internal storage capacity. The Xperia 5 counts with a bit better processor than Galaxy XCover FieldPro, and although they both have 8 processing cores, the Xperia 5 also has a higher amount of RAM memory.

Galaxy XCover FieldPro counts with a superior battery lifetime than Sony Xperia 5, because it has a 4500mAh battery capacity against 3140mAh. The Xperia 5 shoots greater photographs and videos than Galaxy XCover FieldPro, because although it has a smaller back-facing camera sensor taking lower quality videos and photos and a tinier aperture which is not favorable for shooting pictures in low-light situations, and they both have the same resolution back camera, the Xperia 5 also counts with a lot higher video definition.

Even being the best phone in our current comparison, Xperia 5 is also by far the cheapest one, making this phone a great choice.
