Comparison review
The Xperia 5 is a bit better than Xperia Z5, getting an 81 score against 77.6. Xperia 5 is a incredibly newer cellphone than Xperia Z5, but it is a little thicker and a bit heavier. The Sony Xperia Z5 counts with a slightly better screen than Sony Xperia 5, although it has a bit worse resolution of 1920 x 1080, a little lower count of pixels per screen inch and a bit smaller display.
Xperia 5 features a very superior storage capacity for games and applications than Xperia Z5, because it has a slot for external memory cards that allows a maximum of 512 GB and 128 GB internal memory capacity. The Sony Xperia 5 features a bit superior CPU than Xperia Z5, because although it has doesn't have an additional graphics co-processor, and they both have the same number of cores, the Sony Xperia 5 also counts with a larger amount of RAM.
Sony Xperia 5 has a bit longer battery lifetime than Sony Xperia Z5, because it has a 3140mAh battery size. The Sony Xperia Z5 counts with a bit better camera than Xperia 5, because although it has a smaller diafragm aperture which is not recommended for taking pictures in low-light situations, and they both have the same video frame rates and the same 3840x2160 video resolution, the Sony Xperia Z5 also counts with a back-facing camera with much more MP and a larger back camera sensor providing a higher image quality.
Although Sony Xperia 5 is a better device, it is way more expensive than Xperia Z5, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as Xperia Z5. So if you want that extra specs, you can buy the Sony Xperia 5, otherwise you can save a couple dollars and get the Xperia Z5, letting go some features and specs.
