Comparison review
Xperia 5 is a little bit better than Xiaomi Black Shark, getting an 81 score against 80.4. Xperia 5's body is newer, thinner and lighter than the Xiaomi Black Shark. Xiaomi Black Shark's processing unit is very similar to the Xperia 5 one, and although the Xiaomi Black Shark has a larger amount of RAM, they both have a Octa-Core CPU.
The Xiaomi Black Shark counts with a little bit better screen than Xperia 5, although it has a bit less pixels per inch of screen, a little bit smaller display and a bit worse resolution of 1080 x 2160px. The Xperia 5 has a way bigger memory capacity to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Xiaomi Black Shark, and although they both have equal 128 GB internal memory, the Xperia 5 also has a slot for SD memory cards that holds up to 512 GB.
The Xiaomi Black Shark and Sony Xperia 5 feature very similar cameras, and although the Xiaomi Black Shark has a smaller camera sensor taking lower quality photographs and videos and a tinier diafragm aperture which is not favorable for capturing images and video in low-light environments, they both have the same video quality, the same 30 fps video frame rates and the same resolution back-facing camera.
Xiaomi Black Shark counts with superior battery performance than Sony Xperia 5, because it has a 4000mAh battery capacity instead of 3140mAh.
