Xiaomi Black Shark 2 has a global score of 82.3, which is a little bit better than Sony Xperia 5's general score of 81. Despite being the best in this comparison review, Xiaomi Black Shark 2's body is way heavier and a little bit thicker than the Sony Xperia 5. The Sony Xperia 5 and the Xiaomi Black Shark 2 both feature really similar processors, and although the Xiaomi Black Shark 2 has a larger amount of RAM memory, they both have a Octa-Core processing unit.
Xiaomi Black Shark 2 features a screen that's just as good as Xperia 5's display, because although the Xiaomi Black Shark 2 has a just a little less pixels per screen inch and a little lower resolution of 1080 x 2340px, it also counts with a little bit bigger screen. Xiaomi Black Shark 2 takes much better videos and photos than Xperia 5, because although it has a smaller camera aperture which is not so good for taking images or video in low-light environments, and they both have the same 3840x2160 video quality and the same video frame rates, the Xiaomi Black Shark 2 also counts with a way bigger camera sensor shooting way better quality photos and videos and a way more MP camera.
The Sony Xperia 5 features a much greater storage to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Xiaomi Black Shark 2, and although they both have equal internal storage, the Sony Xperia 5 also has an external memory card slot that holds a maximum of 512 GB. The Xiaomi Black Shark 2 counts with better battery lifetime than Sony Xperia 5, because it has a 27% bigger battery capacity.
