Comparison review
The Xperia 5 has an overall score of 81, which is a little bit better than Xiaomi Mi 5s Plus's overall score of 78.1. The Xperia 5 is a way newer and just a little lighter phone than the Xiaomi Mi 5s Plus, although it's also a bit thicker. Xperia 5 features a bit faster CPU than Xiaomi Mi 5s Plus, and although they both have the same RAM amount, the Xperia 5 also has 4 more CPU cores.
Xperia 5 and Xiaomi Mi 5s Plus have incredibly similar displays, although the Xiaomi Mi 5s Plus has a bit worse pixel density, a little smaller display and a little lower 1080 x 1920 resolution. The Xperia 5 captures just a bit better videos and photos than Xiaomi Mi 5s Plus, because although it has a less mega-pixels resolution back camera and a worse (4K) video resolution, it also counts with a bigger aperture to take better low-light photos and videos and a bigger back camera sensor providing a better image quality.
Sony Xperia 5 has a very superior storage capacity for games and applications than Xiaomi Mi 5s Plus, and although they both have the same 128 GB internal storage capacity, the Sony Xperia 5 also has a SD card slot that admits a maximum of 512 GB. Xiaomi Mi 5s Plus features improved battery life than Sony Xperia 5, because it has 3800mAh of battery capacity against 3140mAh.
