Comparison review
The Xperia 5 is just a bit better than the Xiaomi Mi 6, having an 81 score against 76.5. Xperia 5's body is much newer and just a little bit lighter, but just a little bit thicker than Xiaomi Mi 6. The Sony Xperia 5 features just a bit better performance than Xiaomi Mi 6. Both of them have a Octa-Core CPU and 6 GB of RAM memory.
Xiaomi Mi 6 counts with a little bit better looking screen than Xperia 5, although it has a little bit worse amount of pixels per inch of display, a quite lower resolution of 1080 x 1920 and a little smaller display. Xperia 5 features a way bigger storage to store more games and applications than Xiaomi Mi 6, and although they both have equal 128 GB internal storage capacity, the Xperia 5 also has an external memory slot that holds a maximum of 512 GB.
The Xperia 5 counts with a bit better camera than Xiaomi Mi 6, and although they both have the same video frame rates, the same resolution back camera and the same video quality, the Xperia 5 also has a bigger aperture to take better low-light photography and video and a larger sensor providing a better image quality.
Xiaomi Mi 6 has a little longer battery duration than Sony Xperia 5, because it has a 7 percent more battery size.
Although Xperia 5 is a better device, it is way more expensive than the Xiaomi Mi 6, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as Xiaomi Mi 6. So if you need that extra specs, you can buy Xperia 5, otherwise you can save a couple dollars and get the Xiaomi Mi 6, giving up some features and specs.
