Comparison review
The Xperia 5 has an overall score of 81, which is a little bit better than Xiaomi Poco M3's 78.2 global score. Xperia 5's design is somewhat lighter and thinner than the Xiaomi Poco M3, although it was released a bit more over a year before. The Xperia 5 features a bit superior processing unit than Xiaomi Poco M3, and although they both have a Octa-Core CPU, the Xperia 5 also has 2 GB more RAM memory.
Xperia 5 features a little bit better screen than Xiaomi Poco M3, because although it has a little bit smaller screen, it also counts with a quite better screen pixel density and a quite better 1080 x 2520 resolution. The Xperia 5 has a very superior memory to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Xiaomi Poco M3, and although they both have a slot for external memory cards that allows up to 512 GB, the Xperia 5 also has 128 GB internal storage capacity.
The Xiaomi Poco M3 shoots much better videos and photos than Xperia 5, because although it has a smaller diafragm aperture, and they both have the same (Full HD) video definition and the same video frame rates, the Xiaomi Poco M3 also counts with a lot larger back-facing camera sensor taking more light and vivid colors and a camera in the back with lot more megapixels.
Xiaomi Poco M3 has a really longer battery duration than Sony Xperia 5, because it has a 6000mAh battery capacity.
Although Sony Xperia 5 is a better device, it is way more expensive than the Xiaomi Poco M3, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as the Xiaomi Poco M3. If you prefer to save some dollars, you can get the Xiaomi Poco M3, and give up a few features and specifications, but you will get the most with your savings.
