Comparison review
The Xperia 5 is a little bit better than the Xiaomi Redmi Note 10 5G, getting an 81 score against 79.5. The Xperia 5 is an older device than Xiaomi Redmi Note 10 5G, but Sony was able to make it somewhat lighter and just a little thinner. The Sony Xperia 5 counts with a slightly better looking display than Xiaomi Redmi Note 10 5G, because although it has a little smaller screen, it also counts with a bit more pixels per inch in the display and a slightly better resolution of 1080 x 2520px.
Xperia 5 features a much greater storage for apps and games than Xiaomi Redmi Note 10 5G, because it has an external SD slot that supports up to 512 GB and 128 GB internal memory capacity. Sony Xperia 5 has a little faster processor than Xiaomi Redmi Note 10 5G, and although they both have 8 cpu cores, the Sony Xperia 5 also has a higher amount of RAM.
The Xiaomi Redmi Note 10 5G counts with a much better battery lifetime than Xperia 5, because it has a 59 percent more battery size. Xiaomi Redmi Note 10 5G and Xperia 5 both feature extremely similar cameras, because although the Xiaomi Redmi Note 10 5G has a smaller diafragm aperture which is not nice for taking photos and/or video in low light environments, it also counts with a way bigger back-facing camera sensor providing a way higher image quality and a camera in the back with way more MP.
Although Xperia 5 is a better device, it is way more expensive than the Xiaomi Redmi Note 10 5G, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as the Xiaomi Redmi Note 10 5G. So if you want that extra features and specs, you can buy the Xperia 5, otherwise you can save some dollars and buy the Xiaomi Redmi Note 10 5G, giving up some features and specifications.
