The HTC Hero S has a global score of 55.8, which is just a bit better than the Sony Xperia E's score of 51.5. Although it's the best cellphone in this review, HTC Hero S's design is older, just a little bit thicker and somewhat heavier than the Sony Xperia E. These devices work with Android operating system, but the HTC Hero S has an older 2.3 version while Sony Xperia E has Android 4.1.
The HTC Hero S counts with just a bit better processing power than Sony Xperia E, because although it has doesn't have a graphics processing unit, and they both have a Single-Core processing unit, the HTC Hero S also counts with 256 MB more RAM memory. HTC Hero S counts with a much better screen than Xperia E, because it has a lot higher 960 x 540 pixels resolution, a much better number of pixels per screen inch and a quite larger display.
HTC Hero S counts with a very superior camera than Sony Xperia E, because it has a lot higher video resolution and a camera with lot more megapixels. The HTC Hero S features as much storage capacity for applications, games, photos and videos as the Sony Xperia E, they have a slot for an external memory card that supports a maximum of 32 GB and the same internal storage.
Xperia E and HTC Hero S both count with incredibly similar batteries duration, although the HTC Hero S also has 1520mAh of battery capacity against 1500mAh.
Despite of being the best phone in this comparison, the HTC Hero S is also a lot cheaper.
