The Google Nexus 4 has a global score of 67.3, which is slightly better than Xperia Ion's score of 61.3. These phones use Android OS (Operating System), but Google Nexus 4 has a newer 5.0 version while Xperia Ion has Android 4.1.2 version, giving you a lot of extra features. Google Nexus 4's body is newer, somewhat thinner and just a little lighter than Xperia Ion.

Google Nexus 4 has a bit faster CPU than Xperia Ion, because it has a greater amount of RAM memory, an extra graphics processor and a higher number of cores. Google Nexus 4 counts with a display that is just as good as Xperia Ion's screen, because although the Google Nexus 4 has a little bit lower pixel density, it also counts with a little bit higher resolution of 1280 x 768px and a little larger screen.

The Google Nexus 4 captures a little bit better photographs and videos than Sony Xperia Ion, although it has a lower (Full HD) video resolution and a back facing camera with way less megapixels resolution. The Sony Xperia Ion counts with a much greater storage capacity to install games and applications than Google Nexus 4, because it has an external SD slot that supports a maximum of 32 GB and more internal memory.

Google Nexus 4 has just a little better battery performance than Xperia Ion, because it has an 11% greater battery size.

Despite of being the best phone between the ones we are comparing here, Google Nexus 4 is also a lot cheaper.
