Comparison review

LG Optimus G is just a bit better than Xperia Ion, with a 66 score against 61.3. Both of these devices use the same Android 4.1.2 OS (Operating System), so both of them should count with all the same OS features. The LG Optimus G body is a lot thinner but a little bit heavier than Xperia Ion, and both were released with only 9 months difference.

The Sony Xperia Ion and the LG Optimus G feature really similar screens, because although the LG Optimus G has a just a little inferior number of pixels per screen inch, it also counts with a little higher resolution of 1280 x 768px and a little bit larger display. LG Optimus G has a slightly bigger storage capacity for games and applications than Sony Xperia Ion, because although it has no slot for an SD memory card, it also counts with more internal storage capacity.

The LG Optimus G has a bit better processing unit than Sony Xperia Ion, because it has a higher number of cores, a graphics processor and a larger amount of RAM memory. The LG Optimus G has a little longer battery lifetime than Xperia Ion, because it has 2100mAh of battery capacity. The LG Optimus G counts with a slightly better camera than Sony Xperia Ion, and although they both have the same video frame rates and the same 1920x1080 (Full HD) video resolution, the LG Optimus G also has a more mega pixels back camera.

Despite of being the best phone of the ones we compare here, the LG Optimus G is also a bit cheaper, which makes it an easy decision.
