Xperia XZ1 is a bit better than Xperia L4, getting a score of 78.3 against 71.8. The Xperia XZ1 is an extremely older device than Xperia L4, but Sony was able to make it lighter and thinner. The Xperia XZ1 has a sharper screen than Xperia L4, because although it has a quite smaller display, it also counts with a greater pixel count per inch in the screen and a higher 1080 x 1920 resolution.
Sony Xperia XZ1 counts with a much bigger memory capacity for applications, games, photos and videos than Xperia L4, and although they both have exactly the same 64 GB internal memory capacity, the Sony Xperia XZ1 also has a slot for an SD memory card that allows a maximum of 1,95 TB. Xperia XZ1 has just a little better hardware performance than Sony Xperia L4, and although they both have a Octa-Core processing unit, the Xperia XZ1 also has a greater amount of RAM.
The Xperia L4 features improved battery life than Sony Xperia XZ1, because it has a 3580mAh battery size. Sony Xperia XZ1 takes much clearer photos and videos than Xperia L4, and although they both have the same diafragm aperture, the Sony Xperia XZ1 also has a way higher 3840x2160 video definition, a way larger sensor shooting much better quality photos and a much better 19 megapixels resolution back-facing camera.
