Samsung Galaxy S4 is much better than Xperia M, getting a 79 score against 57. Both of these devices include Android operating system, but the Samsung Galaxy S4 has newer 4.4 version while Xperia M has Android 4.3, so it gives you some additional features and performance improvements. Even though the Samsung Galaxy S4 and the Xperia M were released with only 3 months difference, Samsung Galaxy S4's body is heavier but thinner.
The Samsung Galaxy S4 has a brighter display than Xperia M, because it has a lot better number of pixels per inch in the display, a larger display and a way better resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels. Galaxy S4 has a lot bigger storage for games and applications than Sony Xperia M, because it has a SD memory card expansion slot that admits a maximum of 64 GB and 64 GB internal storage.
The Galaxy S4 features a faster processing unit than Xperia M, because although it has a worse graphics processor working at 400 MHz, it also counts with a greater number of cores and a higher amount of RAM memory.
