Xperia L1 has a score of 64.4, which is a little bit better than Xperia M2's global score of 58.6. Both phones in this comparison work with Android OS, but Xperia L1 has a more recent 7.0 Nougat version while Xperia M2 has Android 4.4.4 version, so it gives you a couple nice extra features. Xperia L1 is a heavier cellphone than the Xperia M2, but both of them are 0.34inches thick.

The Sony Xperia M2 counts with a sharper display than Xperia L1, although it has a just a bit inferior pixels quantity per inch in the display, a bit smaller screen and a lot lower 960 x 540 pixels resolution.
Sony Xperia L1 has a much better storage for games and applications than Sony Xperia M2, because it has a SD card slot that admits up to 256 GB and 16 GB internal memory capacity. The Xperia L1 shoots greater photos and videos than Xperia M2, because it has a lot more megapixels camera. Xperia L1 has just a bit better battery performance than Xperia M2, because it has 2620mAh of battery capacity instead of 2300mAh.
Even being the best phone of the ones we compare here, Sony Xperia L1 is also a bargain compared to the other devices, which makes this phone an obvious call.
