The Galaxy Nexus has a global score of 64.3, which is just a bit better than the Xperia M2's 58.6 global score. Both of these phones have Android operating system, but the Galaxy Nexus has the older 4.3 version while Xperia M2 has Android 4.4.4. Galaxy Nexus's design is just a little lighter than Xperia M2, although it's a little bit thicker and was released many years before.
The Xperia M2 has a bit faster processor than Samsung Galaxy Nexus, and although they both have 1 GB of RAM memory, the Xperia M2 also has a much better graphics processor and more cpu cores. Samsung Galaxy Nexus features just a bit better looking screen than Xperia M2, because although it has a little bit smaller display, it also counts with more pixels per display inch and a higher 1280 x 720 resolution.
Sony Xperia M2 has a bit bigger memory to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Samsung Galaxy Nexus, because although it has just 8 GB internal storage capacity, it also counts with a slot for SD memory cards that supports a maximum of 32 GB. Galaxy Nexus shoots much better pictures and videos than Sony Xperia M2, although it has a back facing camera with way less megapixels and a worse 1920x1080 video quality.
The Xperia M2 counts with greater battery life than Samsung Galaxy Nexus, because it has 2300mAh of battery capacity instead of 1750mAh.
