Comparison review

The Xperia PRO-I is much better than Motorola Edge 50, with a 96.3 score against 81.2. Even though Xperia PRO-I is better than the Motorola Edge 50, we must highlight that it is also a noticeably older, somewhat thicker and somewhat heavier cellphone. Both phones in this review come with Android OS (Operating System), but the Xperia PRO-I has an older 11 version while Motorola Edge 50 has Android 14 version.

The Xperia PRO-I counts with a much greater hardware performance than Motorola Edge 50, and although they both have 8 cpu cores, the Xperia PRO-I also has 4 GB more RAM. Motorola Edge 50 has a bit better screen than Xperia PRO-I, because although it has a much worse screen pixel density and a much lower 1220 x 2712 resolution, it also counts with a bit bigger display.

Xperia PRO-I counts with much more storage to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Motorola Edge 50, because it has 512 GB internal memory and a slot for an SD memory card that admits a maximum of 1 TB. Motorola Edge 50 has a better camera than Sony Xperia PRO-I, because although it has slower 30 frames per second video frame rate, and they both have the same (4K) video definition, the Motorola Edge 50 also counts with a way bigger sensor shooting much better quality videos and photographs, a bigger camera aperture to capture better low-light images and video and a camera with much more MP.

The Motorola Edge 50 counts with just a bit better battery life than Sony Xperia PRO-I, because it has an 11% more battery size.
