The Sony Xperia PRO-I is a lot better than OnePlus 9 Pro, with a global score of 96.3 against 76.6. Despite being the best device in this review, the Sony Xperia PRO-I design is heavier and a little thicker than the OnePlus 9 Pro. These phones use the same Android 11 operating system, so they should give you identical operating system features.
The Sony Xperia PRO-I has a bit better hardware performance than OnePlus 9 Pro, and although they both have a Octa-Core processor, the Sony Xperia PRO-I also has a greater amount of RAM memory. The Xperia PRO-I has a little sharper screen than OnePlus 9 Pro, because although it has a little smaller screen, it also counts with a just a little higher pixels number per screen inch and a quite better resolution of 1644 x 3840px.
The OnePlus 9 Pro shoots a lot better photographs and videos than Xperia PRO-I, because it has a much better 7680x4320 video quality, a back-facing camera with a lot better resolution, a lot bigger camera sensor which gives a much higher photo and video quality and a larger diafragm aperture. The Sony Xperia PRO-I has a superior memory for apps and games than OnePlus 9 Pro, because it has a slot for external memory cards that admits up to 1 TB and 512 GB internal memory.
The OnePlus 9 Pro's battery life is just as good as the battery lifetime in Xperia PRO-I.
