Xperia PRO-I has an overall score of 96.3, which is much better than the Samsung Galaxy A12's 80.3 general score. The Xperia PRO-I design has the same thickness than the Samsung Galaxy A12, but it's just a bit heavier. Both of these phones have Android OS, but Xperia PRO-I has a newer 11 version and Samsung Galaxy A12 has Android 10, offering a couple nice extra features.
The Sony Xperia PRO-I counts with a bit better hardware performance than Samsung Galaxy A12, and although they both have 8 CPU cores, the Sony Xperia PRO-I also has a higher amount of RAM. Sony Xperia PRO-I has a much better looking screen than Galaxy A12, and although they both have a same size screen, the Sony Xperia PRO-I also has a way better screen pixels density and a much better 1644 x 3840 resolution.
The Sony Xperia PRO-I counts with a superior memory for games and applications than Galaxy A12, and although they both have a slot for an SD memory card that admits up to 1 TB, the Sony Xperia PRO-I also has 448 GB more internal storage. Samsung Galaxy A12's camera is just as good as the camera in Xperia PRO-I, because although the Samsung Galaxy A12 has slower 30 fps video frame rates, and they both have the same (Full HD) video resolution and the same diafragm aperture, it also counts with a camera in the back with much more megapixels.
The Galaxy A12 has just a bit longer battery life than Sony Xperia PRO-I, because it has an 11 percent greater battery size.
