Comparison review

Xperia PRO-I is better than the Samsung Galaxy Note Edge, with a global score of 96.3 against 81.7. The Xperia PRO-I is a much newer phone than the Samsung Galaxy Note Edge, but it is noticeably heavier and a bit thicker. Both devices in our current comparison use Android operating system, but Xperia PRO-I has a more recent 11 version and Samsung Galaxy Note Edge has Android 5.0 version.

The Sony Xperia PRO-I counts with just a little better hardware performance than Galaxy Note Edge, because although it has doesn't have a graphics processing unit, it also counts with more RAM and more CPU cores. The Samsung Galaxy Note Edge has a little more vivid display than Xperia PRO-I, although it has a bit smaller screen, a way worse resolution of 2560 x 1440 and a just a little inferior pixels number in each screen inch.

The Xperia PRO-I has a much greater storage for applications, games, photos and videos than Galaxy Note Edge, because it has a SD memory card expansion slot that holds up to 1 TB and 480 GB more internal memory. Xperia PRO-I counts with a really longer battery lifetime than Galaxy Note Edge, because it has a 4500mAh battery capacity against 3000mAh.

The Sony Xperia PRO-I shoots a little bit better pictures and videos than Samsung Galaxy Note Edge, because although it has a tinier back camera sensor taking worse quality pictures and videos, a much lower resolution back-facing camera and a lower 3840x2160 video quality, it also counts with a larger aperture for better low light captures.
