Comparison review
Sony Xperia PRO is better than Samsung Galaxy A8 Star, having a 94.3 score against 82.1. The Sony Xperia PRO is a newer cellphone than Samsung Galaxy A8 Star, but it's somewhat heavier and notably thicker. Both devices in this review include Android operating system, but Sony Xperia PRO has the previous 10 version and Samsung Galaxy A8 Star has Android 9.0 Pie version.
The Xperia PRO features a bit better processing power than Galaxy A8 Star, and although they both have 8 cpu cores, the Xperia PRO also has a larger amount of RAM. Xperia PRO features a sharper screen than Galaxy A8 Star, because it has a lot greater pixel density, a way better resolution of 1644 x 3840 pixels and a bit bigger display.
Sony Xperia PRO counts with a much greater memory capacity to store more games and applications than Galaxy A8 Star, because it has a slot for external memory cards that supports a maximum of 1 TB and 512 GB internal storage. Sony Xperia PRO features a bit superior battery lifetime than Galaxy A8 Star, because it has 4000mAh of battery capacity against 3700mAh.
Xperia PRO shoots a little bit better videos and photos than Galaxy A8 Star, because although it has a lower 3840x2160 video resolution and a lot less mega pixels back camera, and they both have the same diafragm aperture, the Xperia PRO also counts with a lot bigger back-facing camera sensor shooting lot higher quality videos and photographs.
