Galaxy Amp Prime 3 has an overall score of 68.7, which is a bit better than the Xperia S's 63.8 global score. The Galaxy Amp Prime 3 body is a lot newer and thinner than the Xperia S's, but it is also just a little bit heavier. Both of these phones use Android OS (Operating System), but Galaxy Amp Prime 3 has a more recent 8.0 Oreo version and Xperia S has Android 4.1 version, giving lots of additional features and better performance.

Galaxy Amp Prime 3 counts with a way better battery life than Xperia S, because it has a 49 percent greater battery capacity.
The Sony Xperia S takes clearer photographs and videos than Galaxy Amp Prime 3, because although it has slower 29 frames per second video frame rate and a way tinier aperture which is worse for taking photographs in low-light situations, and they both have the same video quality, the Sony Xperia S also counts with a way higher 12.1 MP resolution camera in the back.
