The LG K40 is just a bit better than the Xperia TL, having a score of 69.8 against 66.1. Both phones in this review include Android OS (operating system), but LG K40 has 8.1 Oreo version while Xperia TL has Android 4.1, so it offers lots of additional features and some performance improvements. The LG K40 construction is incredibly newer, a little bit lighter and thinner than Xperia TL.
LG K40 features a bit faster CPU than Xperia TL, because although it has doesn't have an additional graphics processing unit, it also counts with more RAM and a higher number of cores. Xperia TL features a better display than LG K40, because although it has a bit lower resolution of 1280 x 720 and a much smaller screen, it also counts with a just a bit higher pixels density.
LG K40 counts with much more storage to store more games and applications than Xperia TL, and although they both have equal 16 GB internal memory, the LG K40 also has an external memory slot that admits up to 1,95 TB. The LG K40 counts with a much longer battery duration than Sony Xperia TL, because it has a 62 percent larger battery capacity.
Xperia TL counts with a slightly better camera than LG K40, because although it has a smaller diafragm aperture which is not so good for taking pictures and videos in poorly lited environments, and they both have the same 1920x1080 (Full HD) video resolution and the same video frame rates, the Xperia TL also counts with a lot more megapixels back-facing camera.
Even being the best phone between the ones we are comparing, the LG K40 is also a bit cheaper.
