The Moto Z2 Play has a global score of 77.4, which is much better than Sony Xperia TX's score of 63. The Moto Z2 Play body is a lot newer and noticeably thinner than the Sony Xperia TX's, but it's somewhat heavier. Motorola Moto Z2 Play counts with a little better performance than Xperia TX, because although it has doesn't have an extra graphics processor, it also counts with a higher amount of RAM memory and a greater number of faster cores.
The Xperia TX counts with a bit more vivid display than Motorola Moto Z2 Play, although it has a bit smaller screen, a little bit less pixels per screen inch and a lot worse resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels. The Motorola Moto Z2 Play has a very superior memory capacity for applications, games, photos and videos than Xperia TX, because it has 64 GB internal storage and a SD memory slot that admits a maximum of 1,95 TB.
The Motorola Moto Z2 Play counts with a much better battery performance than Xperia TX, because it has 3000mAh of battery capacity instead of 1750mAh. Motorola Moto Z2 Play features a much better camera than Sony Xperia TX, because although it has a camera in the back with lesser mega-pixels, it also counts with a lot larger diafragm aperture for better captures in low-light environments and a lot better video resolution.
Moto Z2 Play costs a bit more money than Xperia TX, but it's still a great deal, as you can get a better phone for that extra money.
