The Galaxy J7 is slightly better than the Sony Xperia TX, getting a 68.6 score against 63. Even though the Galaxy J7 is way heavier than Sony Xperia TX, it's thinner and newer. Both phones in this comparison review have Android OS, but Galaxy J7 has a newer 6.0 Marshmallow version and Sony Xperia TX has Android 4.3.

Xperia TX features a brighter screen than Samsung Galaxy J7, because although it has a quite smaller screen, and they both have the same exact resolution of 1280 x 720px, the Xperia TX also counts with a little greater pixels number in each inch in the display. The Galaxy J7 features a better memory for apps and games than Sony Xperia TX, and although they both have equal 16 GB internal storage capacity, the Galaxy J7 also has a SD memory card expansion slot that allows a maximum of 128 GB.

The Galaxy J7 has a little faster processing unit than Sony Xperia TX, because although it has doesn't have an extra graphics processor, it also counts with a larger amount of RAM memory and a higher number of cores. Galaxy J7 has a much better battery life than Sony Xperia TX, because it has 3000mAh of battery capacity instead of 1750mAh.

The Galaxy J7 features a superior camera than Sony Xperia TX, and although they both have the same 1920x1080 video quality, a same resolution back facing camera and the same video frame rates, the Galaxy J7 also has a much bigger camera aperture.
