Comparison review

The Samsung Galaxy Grand Neo is a little bit better than the Sony Xperia U, getting a 60.4 score against 55. Both of these devices come with Android OS (operating system), but Samsung Galaxy Grand Neo has a more recent 4.2 version and Sony Xperia U has Android 4.0 version, so it provides a lot of extra features. Samsung Galaxy Grand Neo's body is newer and somewhat thinner, but way heavier than the Sony Xperia U.

The Galaxy Grand Neo features a little bit better performance than Sony Xperia U, because although it has doesn't have a graphics co-processor, it also counts with a higher amount of RAM and a greater number of cores. The Xperia U features a bit sharper screen than Samsung Galaxy Grand Neo, because although it has a lot smaller screen, it also counts with a quite better 854 x 480 resolution and a higher display density.

Galaxy Grand Neo captures better pictures and videos than Xperia U. Both of them have the same 1280x720 video definition, the same video frame rate and a 5 MP back-facing camera. Samsung Galaxy Grand Neo features a much better storage to store more apps and games than Xperia U, and although they both have the same 8 GB internal memory capacity, the Samsung Galaxy Grand Neo also has a slot for external memory cards that supports a maximum of 64 GB.

The Samsung Galaxy Grand Neo counts with a very superior battery duration than Xperia U, because it has a 2100mAh battery size instead of 1320mAh.

Even being the best phone in our current comparison, the Galaxy Grand Neo is also very cheap compared to the other ones.
