The iPhone 8 has an overall score of 85, which is better than the Xperia X Compact's 71.8 global score. IPhone 8's body is newer and way thinner than the Xperia X Compact's, but it's a little heavier. IPhone 8 features a little sharper display than Xperia X Compact, because it has a little larger screen, a little higher 750 x 1334 pixels resolution and a just a bit greater screen density.
IPhone 8 features a greater hardware performance than Sony Xperia X Compact, because although it has a smaller amount of RAM memory, and they both have a Hexa-Core CPU, the iPhone 8 also counts with a 64-bits CPU. IPhone 8 has a bit better camera than Sony Xperia X Compact, because although it has a camera in the back with a lot worse resolution and a way smaller camera sensor which provides a lot lower image and video quality, it also counts with a lot better 3840x2160 (4K) video resolution and a larger diafragm aperture to take better low light captures.
