Comparison review

Samsung Galaxy S6 edge+ has an overall score of 79.3, which is a bit better than Sony Xperia X's score of 72.9. Even though Samsung Galaxy S6 edge+ is older and just a little heavier than the Sony Xperia X, it's construction is still a little bit thinner. The Galaxy S6 edge+ has a more vivid screen than Xperia X, because it has a bit larger screen, a just a bit better quantity of pixels per inch in the display and a better resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels.

Sony Xperia X features just a bit better processing power than Galaxy S6 edge+, because although it has 1 GB less RAM, it also counts with more cores. Xperia X counts with a greater storage capacity to install games and applications than Galaxy S6 edge+, because although it has less internal memory, it also counts with a slot for an SD memory card that allows a maximum of 200 GB.

The Galaxy S6 edge+ counts with a little longer battery lifetime than Xperia X, because it has a 15 percent more battery capacity. The Xperia X captures just a bit better photos and videos than Samsung Galaxy S6 edge+, because although it has a tinier camera aperture which is not nice for low light photography, and they both have the same 1920x1080 video quality, the Xperia X also counts with a larger back camera sensor capturing higher quality photographs and videos, better 60 fps video frame rates and a camera in the back with a way higher resolution.

Although Galaxy S6 edge+ is a better device, it costs a lot more money than Xperia X, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as the Xperia X. So if you need that extra specs, you can buy the Galaxy S6 edge+, else you can save some dollars and get the Xperia X, giving up some features and specs.
