Google Nexus 5 is a little bit better than the Sony Xperia XA1 Plus, getting a 76 score against 73.7. The Google Nexus 5 is a way lighter cellphone than Sony Xperia XA1 Plus, but they are 0.34inches thick. These devices include Android OS (Operating System), but Google Nexus 5 has the previous 4.4.3 version while Sony Xperia XA1 Plus has Android 8.0 Oreo.

The Google Nexus 5's processor is just as good as Sony Xperia XA1 Plus's processing unit, because although the Google Nexus 5 has 4 less and slower processing cores and less RAM, it also counts with a graphics processor. The Google Nexus 5 counts with a better screen than Xperia XA1 Plus, because although it has a bit smaller display, and they both have an equal 1920 x 1080 pixels resolution, the Google Nexus 5 also counts with a little greater screen pixels density.

The Sony Xperia XA1 Plus shoots much better videos and photos than Google Nexus 5, and although they both have the same video quality and the same video frame rates, the Sony Xperia XA1 Plus also has a lot more mega pixels back camera, a much bigger back-facing camera sensor and a larger aperture to capture better low light images and videos.

Xperia XA1 Plus has much more storage capacity for games and applications than Google Nexus 5, and although they both have the same internal storage, the Xperia XA1 Plus also has an external memory slot that admits a maximum of 256 GB. The Xperia XA1 Plus counts with a way better battery performance than Google Nexus 5, because it has a 49 percent greater battery size.

Although Google Nexus 5 is a better device, it costs more money than Xperia XA1 Plus, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as the Xperia XA1 Plus. If you prefer to save a few dollars, you can buy Xperia XA1 Plus, letting go a couple features and specs, but you'll get the most with your money.
